About the Role

As a General Manager at Regal, you will lead your team, drive results, and deliver an environment guests love coming back to. You’ll balance business performance with people leadership to build a theatre your team is proud of.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of theatre performance, monitoring sales, expenses, and operations to support the business.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, proper cash handling, and compliance with safety standards.
• Manage daily operations, including scheduling, reporting, and ensuring smooth daily functioning.
• Build and lead a team through hiring, training, coaching, supporting employees, and managing performance.
• Create a positive guest experience by setting service standards, resolving concerns, and maintaining theatre appearance.
• Oversee the theatre environment for cleanliness, maintenance, stocking, and efficient back-of-house operations.
• Monitor financial and operational results to identify performance improvement and profitability opportunities.
• Ensure proper inventory management, ordering, and cost control for concessions and supplies.
• Maintain and oversee theatre systems and equipment, including projection and audio-visual functionality.
• Lead by example on the floor, supporting the team during peak times and ensuring smooth operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience, or a post-secondary degree in Business or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team while driving results.
• Strong understanding of day-to-day operations and basic financial management.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with theatre systems and technology is a plus.
• Must meet legal requirements for alcohol service where applicable.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
