Responsibilities

  • Own the flawless execution of the operations plan for all categories, sites, and brands within assigned Pod(s).
  • Oversee operations projects from inception to completion and measure success.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee development.
  • Drive cost efficiencies and quality improvements.
  • Lead the identification of key process bottlenecks and operational risks.
  • Develop and execute corrective action plans focused on continuous improvement and long-term value creation.
  • Partner with Procurement leadership on long-term strategy across Operations and Strategy.
  • Manage escalations from production facilities, vendors, and other stakeholders quickly and efficiently.
  • Execute weekly operations tasks.
  • Manage completion of accurate weekly costing, scrubbing, and invoice approvals.
  • Support finance processes weekly and monthly through research.
  • Execute credits, refunds, and RTVs effectively.
  • Ensure timely and accurate SKU launches.
  • Manage tickets and communications, ensuring quick, comprehensive responses and issue closure.
  • Manage PO placement, communication, improvements, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Distribution Center communications, questions, ad-hoc training, escalations, and problem resolution.
  • Manage PTO and coverage.
  • Identify and track week-over-week trends using data.
  • Brainstorm and implement solutions with Sr. Manager / AD.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Build relationships and processes with production facilities and strategy teams.
  • Encourage clear, strong, and comprehensive communication within the team.
  • Own continuous improvement projects autonomously from end to end.
  • Identify opportunities in current processes using a data-driven approach.
  • Collaborate with various internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Build and manage Project Management Plans.
  • Roll out changes smoothly and track success metrics.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 5+ years of purchasing or other relevant leadership experience, preferably in produce, protein, or other food products.
  • Vast knowledge and interest in food.
  • Quantitative and analytical experience (either through education or professional experience).
  • Solid comfort in Excel.

  • $101,000—$117,000 USD (New York)
  • $88,000—$102,000 USD (Arizona)
  • $95,000—$110,000 USD (Illinois)
