About the Role
The Legacy at Oak Hill Senior Living Community is seeking Full Time Med Techs to provide resident care under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director.
Responsibilities
- Takes and records vital signs.
- Measures and records height and weight.
- Calculates and records fluid intake and output.
- Recognizes and reports abnormal changes in body functioning to a supervisor.
- Assists residents with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
- Transfers, positions, and turns residents.
- Provides skin care.
- Contributes to resident assessment and care plan.
- Provides nursing rehabilitation and restorative nursing services.
- Cares for residents with dementia.
- Follows the supervisor's schedule of resident needs.
- Provides emotional and social support to residents.
- Promotes and protects resident rights, assists with informed decisions, treats residents with dignity and respect, protects personal belongings, reports suspected abuse or neglect, avoids physical restraints, and supports independent expression, choice, and decision-making.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a Senior Living Community.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
