About the Role
Manage technology infrastructures for multiple clients across various industries, supporting and maintaining servers, desktops, firewalls, network equipment, and software applications. Seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills to provide outstanding client service.
Responsibilities
- Deploy complex solutions involving Exchange, VMWare, and Windows Server.
- Coordinate internal and external resources and vendors.
- Build new network and server environments.
- Manage, maintain, and upgrade existing servers, networks, and desktops.
- Maintain healthy working relationships with multiple customers, manage expectations, and communicate status updates.
- Understand customer business processes and goals, recommending technology solutions.
- Solve complex technical problems including software deployments, server/desktop hardware issues, and software problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of IT management experience.
- Minimum 1 year as a network/system administrator, IT manager, or IT consultant.
- Prior experience handling multiple customers at an IT consultancy or MSP is a plus.
- Knowledge of common business operating systems and applications, including Windows, Windows Server, and Office.
- Solid understanding of network technology and related concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SMTP, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interface professionally with customer executives and employees.
- Ability to see problems through to resolution and communicate progress and results to customers.
