About the Role
This is a Winter term internship position (January to April 2027) for an undergraduate student seeking a Facilities Assistant role within the Real Estate team. The role involves day-to-day support, project collaboration, and assisting with strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to oversee and manage small-scale projects.
- Assist the real estate team with strategic initiatives across various areas, including leasing, data/reporting, project delivery, and operations.
- Prepare presentations, compile status reports, administer contracts, and take detailed notes during meetings.
- Aid the team in problem-solving and decision-making processes to ensure effective and timely responses.
- Handle inquiries related to maintenance and repairs and assist in resolving these issues promptly.
Requirements
- Registered students returning to school in September 2026 in a related field (BCom, BA, BSc, etc.).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Efficiently manage time to balance various responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Experience with AI-driven automation or using AI to improve processes is beneficial.
