About the Role
As a Communications Coordinator, you will contribute to Alto's communication activities by managing key processes, from media requests to event organization and communication project support. You will play a vital role in implementing initiatives that strengthen connections between Alto, its employees, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the corporate communications team in coordinating, monitoring, and organizing routine communication activities.
- Manage incoming requests and communications from the public, ensuring timely processing, routing, and follow-up in accordance with internal protocols, including coordination with our partner Cadence.
- Monitor media requests and ensure timely processing, follow-up, and follow-through.
- Assist in preparing communication materials and provide administrative and logistical support for internal and external communication initiatives.
- Contribute to the planning and organization of internal and external events, including logistics coordination, stakeholder communication, and on-site support.
- Maintain team calendars, documentation, and tracking tools to enhance workflow efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects and communications.
- Provide content preparation support and perform other tasks as required by the Corporate Communications team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent priority management and ability to handle multiple communication projects and activities simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple files concurrently.
- Knowledge of media monitoring tools and practices, as well as tracking media coverage and requests.
- Autonomy, proactivity, and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment.
- Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong collaborative spirit.
- Bilingualism in French and English.
