About the Role
Caring Senior Service is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to support residents at an independent living community in South Austin. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference for seniors, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent.
Responsibilities
- Provide medication reminders
- Complete resident wellness and safety checks
- Assist residents with restroom needs
- Provide standby assistance with mobility
- Escort residents to meals and activities
- Provide companionship and social interaction
- Assist residents safely throughout the facility
- Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior
- Communicate concerns to appropriate team members
- Help residents maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Caregiving experience strongly preferred
- CNA, HHA, PCA, or similar senior care experience is a plus
- Experience working with seniors is preferred
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
- Comfortable assisting residents with restroom needs and mobility
- Able to remain active and walk throughout the community during shift
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
- Experience in independent living, assisted living, senior living, home care, memory care, personal care, rehabilitation, nursing homes, or private-duty caregiving is valuable
