About the Role

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the fleet services function, focusing on servicing, vehicle damage repair, and the in-fleeting/de-fleeting of rental vehicles to maximize fleet utilization and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and communicates operating plans to maximize fleet utilization according to business and company guidelines.
  • Directs and controls the maintenance, repair, and/or reconditioning of fleet vehicles.
  • Manages all activities related to in-fleeting new and/or used vehicles into the rental fleet.
  • Manages all activities related to de-fleeting vehicles for sale, auction, and/or other alternative channels.
  • Manages team performance against the business plan by setting, communicating, monitoring, and updating goals for key performance indicators.
  • Monitors key performance indicators for service, damage, in-fleet, and deletion, including technician productivity, percent out of service, overdue idle cars, vendor cycle time, days to deletion, and venue quality average grade.
  • Forecasts, budgets, and manages key financial drivers such as S&W per day, warranty recovery, cost per estimate, and cost per deletion.
  • Coordinates automotive damage appraisals and repairs, including documentation and ordering of parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Oversees, manages, and maintains vendor relationships and workload assignments, ensuring established service levels and standards are met.
  • Ensures all vendor management policies and procedures are followed.
  • Oversees the repair and/or maintenance of all buses at bussing locations.
  • Partners with Fleet owners, District/City Managers, and/or External Partners to prioritize workload according to business objectives.
  • Manages all areas of the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, training, recognition, and performance management.
  • Supervises, develops, motivates, recognizes, and evaluates the performance of manager and employee staff to enable a high-performing culture.
  • Manages all facets of employee relations, including implementing HR policies and practices consistently and fairly.
  • Ensures a safe work environment by maintaining adherence to all safety policies and practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years management experience of employees in a related field (rental car, automotive shop, or service-oriented field).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules in a fast-paced environment that may include early mornings, nights, or weekends.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Salary/Compensations

  • $65,000 – $75,000 annually
