About the Role
As a Tire Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their packages in a timely and professional manner. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to lift heavy objects, and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver tires to customers' homes or businesses
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
- Load and unload tires from delivery vehicles
- Use navigation tools to find the most efficient routes
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Communicate any delivery issues or delays to the appropriate personnel
- Stage orders / pick orders / clean up
- Observe and follow health and safety regulations
- Enforce operating instructions and safety policies
- Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
- Maintain detailed records of safety incidents
- Assign designated safety personnel
- Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
Requirements
- Knowledge of London, Ontario and surrounding areas is a must
- Must be able to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis
- Experience operating a forklift is a plus
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred
