About the Role

Join ResProp Management at an exciting time as we take over the management of a new apartment community in South Austin. This role offers a key opportunity to establish a strong team, build resident relationships, and set the tone for the community's future. We are seeking a motivated, hands-on individual eager to make an impact by delivering an exceptional resident experience and driving community success.

Responsibilities

Drive resident satisfaction by responding to and completing work orders timely and with quality.
Drive property performance by performing work to maintain clean, safe, and attractive common areas (pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots, etc.).
Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to prioritize daily tasks.
Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
Maintain property value by performing preventative maintenance.
Ensure resident satisfaction by preparing vacant apartments for move-in.
Ensure a safe work environment by identifying and correcting safety issues or reporting them to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Maintain and repair critical building and site systems.
Utilize software applications to track work and personal performance.
Handle a variety of tasks in an evolving environment as part of a team.

Requirements

At least 1 year of general maintenance/general repair experience, preferably in the multifamily or related industry.
Must have own hand tools.
Must live within 30 minutes of the community.
Must be willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job such as lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
