About the Role
High Rise Fire and Security is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide exceptional preventive and maintenance service for clients, ensuring client satisfaction and contributing to the company's vision, mission, and culture. Responsibilities
- Review project status with HRFS Project Engineer.
- Strategize job completion through project plan creation and implementation.
- Develop project plans with deliverables, milestones, costs, resources, and schedules, leading execution to meet objectives.
- Communicate and coordinate job scope with clients and FSMs, reporting progress regularly.
- Conduct on-site project review meetings for quality assurance and technical support.
- Document drawing numbers and revision dates for final record documents.
- Provide Sales Department with changes via RFP and record on commissioning progress report log.
- Conduct NYFD pre-test inspections.
- Identify code and non-conformance issues, recommending alternative solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, communicating any identified problems.
- Manage and maintain smooth working relationships with contractors, clients, architects, vendors, and engineers.
Requirements
- Two-year Associate’s degree in Engineering or 4 years of project management experience in a similar industry.
- Ability to execute the Department of Engineering SOP as written and implied.
- Knowledge of electronic circuits, applications, and basic electrical theories.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems operation, functions, and products (EST products preferred).
- Ability to read and review blueprints.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and other relevant applications.
- Ability to work on multiple projects in different phases simultaneously.
- Must be a self-starter capable of working independently and in a team.
- Must be able to work well under pressure while preparing multiple projects.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet client expectations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with clients, peers, and management.
- Good problem-solving/decision-making, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, and smell.
- Frequently required to sit, climb, and balance.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, basic color differentiation, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to effectively demonstrate and integrate the HRF client service model.
