About the Role
Penske Logistics is seeking safety-conscious individuals with a pleasant, outgoing attitude to join their warehouse team as dock associates. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a dynamic warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Complies with all safety requirements
- Places securement binders, chains, straps, bunks, and slip mats
- Loads and unloads trailers
- Moves materials within the warehouse
- Keeps yard and equipment tidy
- Electronically scans products using a warehouse management system
- Packages or kits finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
- Identifies and removes damaged products upon receipt
- Reads work orders or receives oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
- Uses computer to enter records
- Maintains inventory records
- Performs other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Willing to work outdoors (majority of the work is outdoors)
