About the Role
Green Ivy Schools is seeking Substitute Teachers for on-call positions for the 2026-2027 school year at Pine Street School. The school offers Spanish and Mandarin immersion programs and utilizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework from Preschool Threes onwards.
Responsibilities
- Create welcoming, functional, safe, attractive, de-cluttered, stimulating and physically comfortable learning environments
- Assist children during bathroom or hygiene-related activities (Preschool only)
- Work with and follow the team’s guidelines with regards to classroom schedule, activities, and norms
- Step in for absent teachers and follow the guidance of other teachers or the Parent Liaison
Requirements
- Montessori and/or IB teaching experience preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Education or a related field (Masters preferred)
- Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience
- Fluent in English
- Legally authorized to work now and in the future in the United States
