About the Role

As the Pre-Sales Application Engineer (FAE), you will be the technical backbone of your assigned sales region, owning all technical aspects of the sales cycle. This includes product demonstrations, proof-of-concept projects, on-site deployment, and customer training for the full FF EAI Robotics portfolio, enabling the sales team to secure and retain B2B customers and channel partners.

  • Lead on-site deployment, configuration, and customer training following FF’s standard deployment SOP (robot setup, controller/App connectivity, scenario programming, teacher/operator training).
  • Translate customer technical requirements and integration questions into structured feedback for FF product and engineering teams, and own the technical Q&A loop with customers and channel partners.
  • Maintain and manage the regional demo fleet (inventory, condition, firmware, logistics for events and customer demos).
  • Support the PAR Development Manager with dealer technical enablement and certification training.
  • Develop scenario-specific application solutions (e.g., campus tour guide, warehouse material handling, security patrol routes) and document them in the regional knowledge base.
  • Represent FF EAI Robotics at regional trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, field application engineering, or technical deployment of robotics, automation, or IoT products.
  • Hands-on ability to independently install, configure, network, and troubleshoot robotic systems on customer sites.
