About the Role
The Senior Director, Demand, Canada, will define the country's demand strategy, lead a sales team, deepen executive relationships with agencies, brands, and DSPs, and drive sustainable revenue growth. This role combines strategic leadership, market influence, and hands-on commercial execution.
Responsibilities
- Own Canada's demand strategy, commercial planning, revenue targets, and business performance across agencies, brands, and DSPs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales organization through disciplined execution, forecasting, pipeline management, coaching, and accountability.
- Build executive relationships with Canada's largest buyers and position Magnite as a trusted strategic partner.
- Drive strategic growth by expanding existing partnerships and developing new demand opportunities across CTV, omnichannel, curated deals, and emerging channels.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and strategic enterprise partnerships.
- Partner cross-functionally with Supply Partnerships, Product, Operations, and Marketing to influence strategy, accelerate product adoption, and maximize customer outcomes.
- Represent Magnite as a senior leader within the Canadian advertising ecosystem through industry engagement and thought leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, digital media, or advertising technology.
- 5+ years leading enterprise sales teams with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Established executive relationships across Canadian agencies, brands, and DSPs.
- Experience building and leading high-performing sales organizations.
- Executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational alignment.
