About the Role
The Skilled Nursing Center Site Administrator (SA) is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that delivers high-quality clinical care in a homelike setting while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and all applicable federal and state regulations governing long-term care facilities. This leader is accountable for fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, collaboration, and resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall operational, clinical, financial, and strategic leadership for the center.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations, policies, and standards.
- Foster a culture focused on resident-centered care, quality outcomes, safety, and service excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Partner with residents, families, community stakeholders, and healthcare providers to enhance the resident experience.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and satisfaction.
- Oversee financial stewardship, budgeting, census development, and operational performance.
- Support the growth and advancement of long-term care and post-acute services across the region.
Requirements
- Vermont and/or New York Nursing Home Administrator License.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive management experience with increasing leadership responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Management experience in at least one of the following settings: Skilled Nursing Center, Residential Care Facility, Assisted Living Community.
- Strong operational and financial acumen.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to think strategically while remaining connected to residents, families, and frontline staff.
- Ability to use creativity, innovation, and sound judgment to solve complex challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and inspire teams toward shared goals.
