About the Role

Support the Billie brand by bringing new products to life, managing product maintenance, cost savings, and sustainability initiatives. Partner with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to ensure packaging meets quality, accuracy, and design standards.

Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation and materials for primary and secondary components for industry-leading packaging and sustainability.
  • Maintain project timelines, tasks, and costs for efficient new product launches.
  • Manage component specification development, BOM creation, and document retention.
  • Define component/finished good specifications and defect ranges for optimized process flow.
  • Compile samples, quotes, and specifications for internal testing of packaging components.
  • Investigate and lead cost savings and sustainability efforts on packaging materials.
  • Liaise with contract manufacturers to optimize packaging for the production environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a packaging role, preferably within personal care, beauty or related industries.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Sciences or Package Engineering preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Extrusion Blow Molding & Injection Molding.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Dispensing Systems.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Decoration techniques for both primary and secondary packaging.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with secondary packaging: folding cartons, enclosures, set-boxes, corrugated.
  • Attention to detail and sense of urgency for organized, accurate, and effective project launches.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.
  • Competent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization and suppliers.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach.
