About the Role

Partner with sales teams to provide technical support and consulting, promoting demand creation. Act as an escalation path for top opportunities and manage customer design requirements. Attend supplier trainings, demonstrate technology understanding, and provide training to sales teams. Manage expectations, build relationships, and oversee opportunities and funnel in the assigned region. Participate in meetings, customer events, and deliver sales presentations. This role requires independent work, acting as a resource for colleagues, and building influential relationships. Travel up to 25% may be required, and the position is part of a sales compensation plan with variable components tied to sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Arrow sales teams in pre- and post-sales activities.
  • Provide technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
  • Serve as an escalation path to local Arrow FAEs for top opportunities.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer design requirements at system and component levels.
  • Attend supplier trainings and demonstrate understanding of supplier technologies.
  • Provide training to Arrow sales teams on new products and market them to customers.
  • Manage supplier and customer expectations by building relationships and updating stakeholders.
  • Manage top opportunities and opportunity funnel in the assigned region.
  • Attend strategic branch meetings and quarterly business reviews.
  • Help plan and organize engineering customer events and seminars.
  • Prepare and give sales presentations to customers.
  • Meet with customers on-site and virtually.
  • Work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Build influential relationships with customers, suppliers, and the Arrow sales team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of electronic design experience.
  • Experience designing with FPGAs (HDL, Simulation, Verification, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Sales experience is beneficial.
