About the Role

Reliance is seeking an HVAC Technician Apprentice Level 1 to join their team. This role offers limitless opportunities for growth and rewards team members for their success. The company has ambitious growth plans and is looking for individuals who want to grow with them.

Responsibilities

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• Professionally service HVAC equipment and accessory items in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
• Be willing to learn and grow as part of a progressive customer service-oriented team.
• Create a positive relationship with customers, offer for sale other company products and services, and demonstrate ability to communicate and problem-solve to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain company vehicle to neat, clean, and safe standards.

Requirements

• Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Must have a Gas Technician II license.
• Must have a valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
• Must have at least a Class G Driver’s License.
• Be willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
• Must be physically capable of performing all work required, including occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, and working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
• Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must have outstanding customer service skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to understand/learn new technologies (i.e., Electronics/electricity).
• Very punctual and dependable.
• Must be willing to wear a Company-provided uniform.
