About the Role
Reliance Home Comfort is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. This role is crucial for servicing HVAC equipment, ensuring safe installations, and providing excellent customer service. The company offers limitless opportunities for growth and rewards team members for their success.
Responsibilities
- Professionally service HVAC equipment and accessory items in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Ensure the safe operation of all new installations.
- Correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
- Create positive relationships with customers.
- Offer for sale other company products and services.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate and problem-solve to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain company vehicle to neat, clean, and safe standards.
Requirements
- Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Must have a Gas Technician II license.
- Received certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313D).
- Must have valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
- Must have at least a Class G Driver’s License.
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
- Physically capable of performing all work required, including occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, and working inside/outside in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
- Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Must have outstanding customer service skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to understand/learn new technologies (i.e., Electronics/electricity).
- Very punctual and dependable.
- Willing to wear Company provided uniform.
