About the Role
Schivo Medical is seeking to hire an experienced Milling Operator to tackle a wide array of problems, including some of the world’s greatest medical challenges. You will work side by side with experts in our industry. Come build your career!
Responsibilities
- Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection)
- Change tools
- Make offsets
- Load material and remove scrap
- Fill out various paperwork
- Simultaneous operation of multiple machines
- Minor troubleshooting
- Inspect finished machines parts
Requirements
- Proven experience with lathe/mill turning machines
- Experience with CNC Milling machines
- Experience using the Fanuc control preferred
- Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T symbols)
- Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills and positive can-do attitude
- Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques
- Ability to stand for several hours
- Ability to lift 50lbs
