About the Role
The Trade Desk is seeking a Principal Technical Account Manager to oversee integrations with inventory/publisher partners. This role provides thought leadership on best practice implementations and technical guidance, serving as a senior liaison between partners and Engineering teams. The candidate will leverage multiple technologies to manage complex integration projects, acting as a solution-oriented advisor who can communicate advanced engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders and evangelize The Trade Desk's value proposition.
Responsibilities
- Oversee integrations with inventory/publisher partners.
- Responsible for the success of technical engagements across assigned partner integrations.
- Provide thought leadership on best practice implementations and technical guidance.
- Serve as senior liaisons between partners and Engineering teams.
- Manage complex, custom integration projects using multiple technologies and tools.
- Act as a solution-oriented advisor who can understand and communicate advanced engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Evangelize The Trade Desk's value proposition and technology to partners.
- Identify new opportunities where products can better serve partners' businesses.
- Help set the technical direction for the team's approach to inventory partnerships.
- Manage long term (multi month) integrations.
- Set timelines for integrations.
- Keep stakeholders updated on integration progress.
- Independently drive the integration process forward.
- Work with deal makers and teams such as Product and Engineering to manage key technical relationships with inventory partners.
- Derive maximum value from inventory partnerships.
- Navigate and communicate across many different stakeholders and personalities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of work experience in a technical client-facing role.
- 3+ years of adtech or adjacent industry experience.
- Experience partnering with publishers, SSP's, or DSP's.
- Experience with SQL, web technologies/web programming languages, and APIs.
- Demonstrable creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform in a fluid, fast-paced work environment.
- Experience working with clients, product, and engineering teams, with the ability to break down complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient working knowledge of Excel, Office, and Outlook.
- Experience with digital advertising technology such as programmatic strongly preferred.
- Proficient in oRTB.
- CTV integration experience a plus.

- $113,500—$208,100 USD
