About the Role
This role focuses on providing excellent customer service and performing various warehouse functions under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Pick products for shipping ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality, and documentation.
- Accurately pick and track components for processing orders in Manufacturing.
- Move materials to and from different areas of the production floor, warehouse, and storage locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines to minimize downtime.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, palletizing, and stretch wrapping.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Load, unload, unpack, and inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock level records.
- Sort, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Replenish stock from reserve to primary locations, including lineside inventory.
- Accurately enter stock transfers and receiving of product.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including Fork Lifts, safely and efficiently.
- Work in various warehouse departments based on workflow.
- Conduct warehouse maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, organizing, and repairing equipment.
- Train other team members as assigned.
- Support quality initiatives and procedures.
- Participate in problem-solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with office equipment.
- Strong hands-on skills / mechanical aptitude.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic mathematical and reasoning skills.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracy.
- Ability to stand throughout entire shift.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks, heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.), standing for a long period of time, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and working in a fast-paced production setting.
