About the Role
Mercer Private Wealth has an immediate vacancy for a Financial Planner (ideally Chartered) to take over an established area of existing clients and new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with a designated support team to produce advice reports to business and regulatory standards and implement solutions agreed with clients.
- Work to agreed budgets and working practices, helping to achieve growth via generating new business.
- Demonstrate competence in all stages of the advisory process, operating in a manner which benefits a certified Person and complying with FCA’s Statements of Principles and the firm’s documented performance measures/standards and compliance plan.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Treating Customers Fairly and deliver good customer outcomes.
- Maintain competence by constantly reviewing own training needs and addressing them in conjunction with your Supervisor, evidenced by an up to date Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
- Deliver ongoing services in a timely manner to a number of existing clients who pay regular fees to receive a designated level of service.
Requirements
- Attained and current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) from CII.
- A good level of relevant industry experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comprehensive industry and technical knowledge.
- Able to work in a structured, efficient manner, using support staff where necessary.
