About the Role

Our Future Health is seeking a Product Manager to join the Research Enablement team. This role involves shaping the tools and services researchers use to access and work with health information from millions of people, aiding in disease discovery, prevention, detection, and treatment. The ideal candidate will combine product management expertise with an understanding of science, health research, or health technology.

Responsibilities

  • Help shape the researcher experience within the Trusted Research Environment (TRE) and supporting products/services.
  • Identify key problems and translate them into valuable products and improvements.
  • Understand researcher needs, workflows, and pain points through research and direct engagement.
  • Define and communicate the vision and strategy for the researcher experience.
  • Translate complex needs into clear product priorities.
  • Own and prioritize the product roadmap, making trade-offs based on user value, strategy, feasibility, risk, and organizational priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve key researcher journeys.
  • Use data and evidence to make decisions, define success measures, and continuously improve products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, science, data, research, and governance teams, as well as external partners.
  • Ensure innovation aligns with security, ethical, and governance requirements for health research.
  • Promote user-centered, outcome-focused ways of working across the organization.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Product Manager, ideally with digital or data products.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver products from problem understanding to iteration.
  • A strong user-centered approach, using research and insight to inform product decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and focus teams on outcomes.
  • Confidence using data and evidence for decision-making and measuring product success.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work with individuals from specialist scientific, technical, or data backgrounds.
  • Scientific and/or technical fluency to understand complex concepts and translate them into product decisions.
  • Experience working in an agile environment with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • A genuine interest in health, science, and research.
