About the Role

The Wares Processor is responsible for production in the hard lines department, including pricing and tagging products. This role also involves providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Cross-training for additional duties may be required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess and sort hard line products based on quality standards.
• Accurately tag and label products based on pricing guide system.
• Generate a minimum of $8,000 in store sales from items produced during every two-week production period.
• Maintain a production minimum of 40 totes per day.
• Continuously increase knowledge of hard line items.
• Push, place, and maintain merchandise on the sales floor.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed during packing and movement of equipment.
• Greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Address customer concerns courteously and respectfully, following retail policies and seeking supervisor assistance when necessary.
• Act as a positive team member by sharing ideas and concerns constructively.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and prepared work stations, requesting needed supplies.
• Maintain interior and exterior of store in a neat, clean, organized manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand documents such as time cards and policy manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports.
• Ability to speak effectively and communicate clearly to other employees and customers.
• Must have open and flexible availability.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
