About the Role

Responsible for production in the softline department, including sorting, hanging, tagging, and labeling products. This role also involves providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess and sort softline products based on quality standards.
• Accurately tag and label products based on description within production system.
• Generate a minimum of $8,000 in store sales from items produced during every two-week production period.
• Continuously increase knowledge of apparel, accessory, shoe, and other softline product brands.
• Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Follow Goodwill of the Finger Lakes values at all times.
• Address customer concerns courteously and respectfully, following retail policies.
• Seek supervisor assistance when necessary to resolve customer concerns.
• Act as a positive team member by receiving and providing ideas or concerns to coworkers and management.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and prepared work stations.
• Request needed supplies from supervisor.
• Maintain interior and exterior of store in a neat, clean, organized manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have open and flexible availability.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Skills

• Ability to read and understand documents such as time cards and policy manuals.
• Ability to complete daily production reports.
• Ability to speak effectively and communicate clearly to team members and customers.
