About the Role
Holbrook Heating Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Service Technician for the Albany, NY area. This role involves performing HVAC service calls and preventative maintenance on residential systems, requiring strong diagnostic and repair skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Inspect equipment and identify potential problems before they become major repairs
- Explain system conditions, repair options, and recommendations clearly to customers
- Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at every appointment
Requirements
- Previous HVAC service and/or maintenance experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
- Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented
