About the Role
Inspire learning, build confidence, and change children’s lives by acting as a coach and mentor to support each learner’s progress with care and purpose. Deliver tailored sessions using a smart learning tool, build meaningful relationships with a 1:6 ratio, and support members working through the national curriculum, entrance exams, and GCSE preparation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored sessions using the Compass learning tool, facilitating learning through questioning, scaffolding, and stretching.
- Build meaningful relationships with learners in a 1:6 ratio, creating a safe and inspiring environment.
- Support members with the national curriculum, entrance exams, and GCSE preparation.
- Focus on tutoring and nurturing members, as lessons and materials are prepared in Compass.
- Accelerate skills through hands-on tutoring and ongoing development.
Requirements
- Must be age 16 or over.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Achieved a grade 6 or above in Maths & English Language at GCSE level or equivalent.
- Accepts predicted GCSE grades if results will be received within the next 3 months.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required.
- Must provide a full employment history with all gaps clearly explained and evidenced where required.

Salary/Compensations
- Under 18: £8.40 per hour
- 18-20: £10.90 per hour
- 21+: £12.75 per hour
- Additional 50p per hour for working at a centre inside the M25.
