About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to research, prototype, and ship products that assist military logisticians in synthesizing constraints and acting within large-scale simulated and physical environments. You will work within the Product team, reporting to the Director of Product Design, and will combine human-factors rigor with rapid AI-assisted prototyping to enhance learning velocity. This role is ideal for someone passionate about information density, emergent system behavior, and making complex systems approachable.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to develop user interfaces and experiences tailored to military logistics operations.
- Champion emerging best practices in AI prototyping for rapid iteration.
- Conduct user research and testing with military stakeholders to validate design decisions.
- Support the development of design systems to ensure brand and product consistency.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to product strategy discussions.
- Document design decisions and maintain design specifications.
Requirements
- US Citizenship required for defense-related projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5 years of product design experience, with a proven track record on complex, data-rich, or systems-oriented products.
- Background in or exposure to defense, intelligence, or government technology.
- Fluency with design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern design/prototyping tools.
- Ability to think in systems, considering states, edges, flows, and failure modes.
- A portfolio demonstrating the ability to design for complexity.
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for user research and client meetings.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Ability to work in a classified environment when necessary.
