  • Analyze, define, and evaluate requirements for AI use cases in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the further development of modern defense-related capabilities.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to gain insights for intelligent, networked, and security-critical systems.
  • Derive well-founded decision-making bases from data analysis.
  • Conceive, develop, and implement modern data science, machine learning, and AI solutions (e.g., Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Geodata Analysis) for complex defense platforms.
  • Design scalable architectures and end-to-end data pipelines.
  • Make sound architectural decisions.
  • Ensure high standards for data governance, data quality, integrity, and information security in security-critical environments.
  • Continuously develop professional and methodological competencies.

  • Proficiency in defense and security-critical environments with high demands on information security, traceability, compliance, and governance.
  • Ability to derive technological decisions for scalable and modular architectures.
  • Sound knowledge in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, particularly in statistics, probability theory, linear algebra, and mathematical modeling.
  • Experience in preparing, feature extraction, and analyzing structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience in evaluating data quality, bias, and robustness.
  • Practical experience in the conception, training, evaluation, and application of models, especially in areas like Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and ideally Geodata Analysis.
  • Proficiency in relevant technologies and frameworks such as Python, Spark, SQL, TensorFlow or PyTorch, OpenCV, GIS systems, and Kubernetes (On-Premises and Cloud environments like StackIT, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience in consulting or comparable customer-facing roles.
