About the Role

As a National Business Sales Advisor, you will manage key relationships and sell solutions by growing our customer base and increasing the number of Rogers small business customer accounts, while promoting the benefits of Rogers' full suite of small business solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain and deliver a world-class customer experience at every interaction.
  • Process inbound and outbound sales calls, via phone and/or chat, to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions such as wireless, wireline, IoT, fleet management, and data centre solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by adopting customer-centric behaviours.
  • Work in a dynamic environment that demands versatility, adaptability and collaboration.
  • Ask open-ended and effective exploratory questions to identify sales opportunities and influence sales with our SMB customer base.
  • Work effectively and collaborate with other teams to best serve our customer base.
  • Stay up-to-date in training and coaching on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to maintain expertise in our products and solutions.
  • Attend product training, team meetings, and planning sessions as needed or requested.
  • Enter end-to-end orders using multiple order entry and service order tools.
  • Participate in activities that foster collaboration between cross-functional teams and partners to ensure continuous performance improvement.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with the Rogers Code of Business Conduct.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in an outbound sales prospecting role or B2B external sales, or an equivalent combination of proactive B2C sales.
  • Knowledge of various sales techniques and prospecting management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams across the company.
  • High degree of creativity, motivation, and organization, with a proven ability to prioritize and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail with a strong process-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to identify workplace issues, determine their causes, and propose and implement effective solutions to resolve them.
  • Willingness to work variable hours (Monday to Friday) to meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrated business professionalism, business acumen, respect for confidential information, and appropriate handling of sensitive information.
  • Strong calendar management skills in MS Outlook, along with good experience with workflow and productivity tools like MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Excellent technological aptitude, including the use of smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset.
  • Excellent understanding of Rogers' internal processes is an asset.
  • Bilingual (French and English) to communicate and maintain regular interactions with an English-speaking clientele.
