About the Role

As a Garage Door Installer, you will be trained to repair, replace, and install garage doors, providing customers with service options and ensuring their satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to grow your career and control your income with a company vehicle and support.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and installing garage door parts and equipment on-site.
• Diagnosing and repairing garage doors, door operators, and replacing springs.
• Installing new equipment including doors.
• Explaining repair options and work performed to customers.
• Selling services, repairs, and new equipment using a good/better/best model.
• Collecting payment from customers.
• Managing inventory, equipment, tools, and products in the company vehicle.
• Maximizing time by addressing customer needs and offering solutions.
• Ensuring quality work is completed correctly the first time.
• Providing excellent customer service to generate positive reviews.
• Committing to safety in driving and work practices.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in heat and cold, both outdoors and in garages.
• Must possess interpersonal skills for effective customer communication and issue resolution.
• Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable and able to serve customers following company processes.
• Must be able to use a computer and/or tablet.
• Must be able to use hand tools and operate mechanical equipment.
