About the Role
This position offers flexibility, whether it be an in-person, remote, or hybrid working arrangement. We are seeking a highly skilled attorney with deep experience in litigation, claims management, and critical discovery strategy and execution to support our representation of a large, national logistics services provider. You will play a key role in shaping discovery approaches, driving efficient processes, and partnering closely with clients and colleagues in a high-volume, high-impact environment.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a nationwide litigation caseload from inception through resolution in a fast-moving environment
- Conduct thorough investigations and proactively spot discovery issues unique to each case
- Develop and craft strategic discovery responses tailored to individual cases while ensuring alignment with overarching national litigation strategies
- Continuously monitor and evaluate discovery processes to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation
- Manage and continuously improve a national claims program, identifying efficiencies and scalable solutions
- Partner closely with attorneys, partners, and client to develop case strategy and discovery plans
- Collaborate across offices and practice groups to deliver seamless, team-oriented service
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, emerging legal issues, and evolving client needs
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in at least one state
- 5+ years of litigation and experience
- Strong discovery experience required
- Experience handling multi-jurisdictional litigation and/or national claims programs preferred
- Background in transportation, logistics, trucking, or related regulatory frameworks preferred
- Familiarity with emerging e-commerce or gig economy legal issues is a plus
- Proven ability to manage high-volume work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Strong client counseling and relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Advanced technical proficiency with litigation and discovery tools
