About the Role

Advantech Industries Inc. is seeking a Quality Director to lead and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) per AS9100D & ISO9001:2015 standards. This role involves providing leadership to the Quality Department, conducting internal audits, managing corrective actions, and serving as the primary quality representative for customer and supplier interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) per the AS9100D & ISO9001:2015 standards.
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the Quality Department.
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits of each department.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) and Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs).
  • Serve as the primary quality representative during daily contract reviews.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, Scheduling, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer and supplier quality audits.
  • Manage customer quality relationships.
  • Champion a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Prepare and review customer data packages and quality documentation prior to shipment.
  • Monitor quality system performance, analyze quality metrics, and report results.
  • Ensure customer requirements remain a primary focus throughout the organization.
  • Maintain the integrity of the QMS during organizational, process, or product changes.
  • Ensure quality processes consistently achieve intended results and support operational excellence.

  • 15 years of experience in the field of precision part manufacturing.
  • 15 years of experience managing an AS9100 or ISO9001 quality system.
  • Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Green Card Holder.
