About the Role
Manage workers' compensation claims from assignment through resolution, investigating claims, evaluating compensability, coordinating with medical providers and legal partners, managing reserves, and driving timely claims resolutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage workers' compensation claims throughout the claim lifecycle.
- Investigate losses and make compensability decisions.
- Collaborate with claimants, employers, attorneys, medical providers, and vendors.
- Identify recovery opportunities, fraud concerns, and litigation strategies.
- Negotiate settlements and work toward quality claim outcomes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of NJ loss time workers compensation experience including litigated claims handling.
- Strong investigation, organization, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Candidates must hold an active adjuster license or be willing and able to obtain and maintain all required state licenses.
- Candidates are expected to participate independently in interviews.
- Unauthorized recording, transcription, AI note-taking, or AI interview assistance tools may not be used during interviews without prior approval.
