About the Role
Seeking a Senior .NET Developer for a 24-month contract in Albany, NY. This critical backfill position involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance enterprise applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy robust enterprise-level software solutions using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and microservices for system integration.
- Optimize database queries, stored procedures, and schema designs using SQL Server.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and system architects to gather requirements and deliver high-quality code.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting to resolve complex technical bugs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strictly 8+ years of verifiable hands-on .NET software development experience post-graduation.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Web API.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework, and ORM tools.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern frameworks (Angular or React preferred).
- Experience with Azure DevOps/Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
