About the Role
Frozen Ropes is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Softball Coaches & Instructors to join our coaching staff beginning this Fall. This role offers the chance to coach travel teams, provide private instruction, lead clinics, and contribute to year-round softball programming, fostering player development in a positive and challenging environment.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor Frozen Ropes travel softball teams
- Provide private and small-group softball instruction
- Lead clinics, camps, practices, and player development programs
- Teach hitting, fielding, throwing, baserunning, game strategy, and overall softball fundamentals
- Help players improve their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game
- Create a positive, structured, and engaging training environment
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches
- Represent the Frozen Ropes culture and commitment to player development
Requirements
- Played softball through at least the high school level
- Strong understanding of softball fundamentals
- Passion for teaching and developing young athletes
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism
- Collegiate or other advanced playing experience
- Previous softball coaching or instructional experience
- Travel softball coaching experience
- Experience working with players of various ages and skill levels
- Softball pitching experience is a strong plus
