About the Role

onX is seeking a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to drive subscription growth for onX Hunt, focusing on Day 7 and Day 30 conversion, free-to-paid movement, and reactivation of lapsed users. This role is part of the Growth & Lifecycle Marketing team and supports the goal of converting, retaining, and reactivating subscribers across onX's verticals. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, capable of forming hypotheses, testing them quickly, and compounding learnings into future experiments, with a focus on building AI-powered systems to scale impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own the lifecycle conversion funnel for onX Hunt, including D7 and D30 conversion, free-to-paid upgrade, and lapsed-user reactivation, and be accountable for moving these metrics.
  • Self-serve insights in Amplitude, synthesize learnings into clear, testable hypotheses, and apply propensity models and behavioral segmentation.
  • Run lifecycle as a compounding experimentation program across email, push, and in-app messaging in Braze.
  • Scale personalized messaging that translates features into value and outcomes, partnering with product, engineering, and BI to define necessary events and attributes.
  • Self-serve experiment analysis and results readouts, communicating outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance, brand and growth marketing, and the Hunt vertical creative team to align lifecycle programs with revenue goals, campaign windows, and creative standards.
  • Build creative briefs and lightweight assets in Figma.
  • Use AI (Claude and similar tools) to build repeatable skills, agents, and workflows that automate campaign production and analysis.
  • Embed AI as a repeatable co-pilot in daily workflows by integrating experimentation into real work.
  • Mentor junior lifecycle marketers on experimentation rigor and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Champion shared standards for how the team runs and documents tests.

Requirements

  • Eight (8) years of lifecycle, CRM, retention, or growth marketing experience is required, with a background in consumer subscription or mobile app businesses.
  • A strong experimentation track record: designed, run, analyzed, and documented A/B tests that produced measurable conversion or retention gains.
  • A strong understanding of user behavior, with a demonstrated ability to generate insights in Amplitude (or similar product analytics tools) and synthesize them into hypotheses.
  • Working knowledge of propensity models and predictive targeting.
  • Proficiency with Braze (or a comparable CRM platform), Amplitude, Figma, and Claude or similar AI tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI to develop new skills and workflows that scale impact.
  • The ability to self-serve in analytics and experimentation results.
  • A strong curiosity for exploring new technologies, including AI.
  • A shared passion for and ability to demonstrate onX’s Company Values.
  • Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX.
  • Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days to a corporate office or other onX strategic location.
