About the Role

Turner & Townsend is seeking Senior Consultants to manage the transition of data center projects from lease execution through construction mobilization. This role involves preconstruction management, project handover, and stakeholder management, supporting a confidential hyperscale data center client. Early joiners will have the opportunity to shape the team's standards.

Responsibilities

• Absorb and package signed deals, completing handover checks against client requirements.
• Co-lead project launch meetings onsite with the client project lead.
• Coordinate preconstruction activities as design details mature.
• Drive open items to documented closure.
• Commission schedule and cost reviews and incorporate findings into the site baseline.
• Maintain the action log and produce milestone reporting inputs.
• Manage the day-to-day interface with developers, client project leads, and internal specialists.
• Transfer each site to the onsite delivery team at mobilization, including baseline, open item register, and accepted risks.
• Contribute to the development of team standards and apply lessons learned.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in project handover, preconstruction coordination, change control, and open item tracking.
• Ability to interpret and act on schedule and cost reviews and pursue resulting issues with a developer.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects at different stages.
• Ability to secure information and commitments from parties who do not report to the role.
• Ability to lead meetings with senior stakeholders and secure assigned actions.
• Ability to work to a standard that is under development and contribute to establishing it.
• Technical skills to read, understand, and communicate contract requirements, including construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including concise reporting to senior client stakeholders.
• Technologically proficient, including MS Suite and Google Workspace.
• Ability to understand and follow site HSSE policies.
