About the Role

We are seeking a student assistant to support the operation and maintenance of our AI tools and knowledge base, freeing up the team for daily AI tasks. This role offers insights beyond typical student jobs, focusing on AI infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Team Vault and AI tools in collaboration with the AI Lead.
• Handle inquiries related to AI topics and resolve minor issues within the Vault.
• Review Quality Reports and perform necessary corrections, such as fixing metadata or broken links, with AI assistance.
• Maintain onboarding materials for new team members and assist with Team Vault setup.
• Review, evaluate, and implement automation-generated maintenance tasks.
• Identify and fix errors in generating skills and approve cleanups.
• Coordinate larger architectural changes with the AI Lead.
• Test new AI models and tools, documenting observations.
• Provide support for minor coding projects or AI agent setup as experience grows.

Requirements

• Proficient with AI tools like Claude Cowork, Codex, or similar agent tools.
• Technically adept with experience in knowledge bases, wikis, or tools like Obsidian.
• Familiarity with Git and Markdown.
• Experience building small tools with (Vibe) Coding.
• High level of initiative, ability to recognize connections, and develop solution ideas.
• Willingness to make decisions and take responsibility within a defined framework.
• Structured, meticulous work style with attention to detail.
• Understanding of naming conventions and clean metadata as a foundation for well-functioning systems.
• Ability to explain learned concepts to others and provide team support.
• Comfortable working in a remote, dynamic team and communicating clearly and reliably without personal contact.
• Currently enrolled as a student with capacity for 15-20 hours/week.
• Ability to work from anywhere in Germany.
• Willingness to travel for strategic meetings and idea development.
