About the Role

Lead the successful delivery of a strategic Sungrow project from planning through execution and handover, coordinating project activities with customers, internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Be present on site in the Berlin area at least two to three times per week and travel up to 50% within Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of a strategic Sungrow project from planning through execution and handover.
  • Coordinate project activities with customers, customer project managers, internal teams, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Be present on site in the Berlin area at least two to three times per week to ensure close project alignment.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, quality, costs, documentation, and key milestones in line with PMO standards.
  • Drive clear, proactive communication and resolve project-related issues efficiently across internal and external teams.
  • Travel up to 50% within Germany to support site activities, customer meetings, and project delivery.

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, renewable energy, or a comparable technical discipline.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in project management within solar PV, energy storage, power electronics, EPC, or technical infrastructure environments.
  • Proven experience managing customer contracts and ensuring delivery in line with agreed scope, schedules, costs, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Experience coordinating project activities from purchase order through delivery, commissioning, and handover.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, milestone tracking, quality management, reporting, and technical project documentation.
  • Knowledge of PV inverters is preferred; experience with energy storage systems is a strong advantage.
  • EPC experience, including collaboration with contractors, subcontractors, and on-site teams, is preferred.
  • Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at C1 level, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Germany.
  • Ability to be on site in the Berlin area two to three times per week.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred.
