About the Role

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Senior I Radiographer - Interventional Radiology to join their Imaging team. This role involves performing specialist interventional imaging examinations to a high standard, ensuring compliance with protocols, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care. The position assists in the management of Interventional Radiology Services and contributes to its development.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively to deliver a high-quality professional service that adapts in line with new technologies and clinical developments.
  • Assist Interventional Modality Lead and management team to develop new and maintain existing Imaging Service policies, procedures and protocols to reflect recognised best practice and ensure they are practical in application.
  • Contribute to analysis and management studies to evaluate the effectiveness of the department.
  • Use excellent radiographic techniques and modify as clinically appropriate.
  • Manipulate a range of equipment, whilst maintaining patient comfort and adequately communicate with patients and colleagues to ensure the safe environment.
  • Adhere to appropriate Health & Safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimally a BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent required.
  • Current valid Healthcare Professional Council (HCPC) registration required.
  • Highly developed specialist interventional Radiology knowledge, underpinned by theory and experience.
  • Knowledge of the application of different Imaging procedures and the associated risks/benefits and precautions/safety requirements.
