About the Role

Circle is seeking a Manager, GRM AI Transformation to lead the reinvention of the Global Risk Management (GRM) organization into an AI-native operating model. This role involves partnering with process owners to define an AI vision, challenge existing assumptions, and translate this vision into scalable AI applications. Success means decoupling business growth from headcount, operating at machine speed, and maintaining robust risk management discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops and working sessions with GRM process owners to reimagine processes and define an AI-native future state vision.
  • Challenge assumptions and drive a mindset shift towards processes designed natively around intelligent agents.
  • Help build GRM into an AI-native organization where core processes are led by agents, with human focus on judgment and exceptions.
  • Champion consistent execution of Circle's AI Risk Management framework, ensuring AI-native processes are risk-assessed, controlled, and safe.
  • Help shape GRM’s AI-native vision and target architecture, including reusable foundational building blocks.
  • Champion a "build once, reuse everywhere" model, prioritizing foundational building blocks to accelerate AI initiatives.
  • Drive the development of pivotal AI applications for GRM, from scoping through launch and impact.
  • Translate risk and compliance domain needs into clear solution designs and outcomes, partnering with stakeholders.
  • Partner with Circle’s central AI team and other AI leaders to align on shared platforms, standards, and best practices.
  • Coordinate and enable GRM’s community of AI drivers and builders, representing GRM priorities in enterprise AI forums.
  • Own and continuously improve GRM-level reporting on the AI transformation, tracking progress, impact, and blockers.
  • Prepare updates and materials for GRM leadership, executive reviews, and risk committees.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in business process transformation, operational excellence, management consulting, product/program management, or a related discipline, including leading process redesign or automation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to reimagine and optimize complex business processes, design future states, and drive organizational change.
  • Strong working fluency with modern AI, including generative AI and agentic/AI-native concepts, and a track record of applying it to business problems.
  • Experience driving cross-functional initiatives end to end, from vision and scoping through delivery and outcomes.
  • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to lead workshops and build alignment.
  • Exposure to risk management, compliance, financial crime, security, or another regulated, control-oriented domain.
  • Strong program and portfolio management skills, including tracking concurrent initiatives and managing dependencies.
  • A builder’s mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity with high autonomy and a bias for action.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex work into clear narratives for executives.
  • A strong sense of responsibility for building AI solutions with appropriate governance, controls, and guardrails.
