About the Role
Utility Cleaners support vital hotel functions across various departments including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. They are responsible for maintaining cleanliness, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring a positive guest experience through spotless environments and efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Support cleaning needs across departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry.
- Prepare clean linen and dining ware.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools like dish washing machines, hand wash stations, and linen washers and dryers.
- Transport dishware or linens across the hotel.
- Create a safe workplace.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Uphold quality standards.
- Ensure uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional.
- Adhere to quality expectations and standards.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments.
- Support the team to reach common goals.
- Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Requirements
- No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- No related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No certifications required.
