About the Role

You're a talented Lead Product Designer with a passion for health and excitement about building our expanding healthcare platform. You enjoy working in dynamic environments, solving complex problems, and creating thoughtful, user-centered design solutions that make a real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own a problem area across connected surfaces, from definition to delivery.
  • Research, design, write, test, measure, and iterate on solutions without waiting for a spec.
  • Drive commercial outcomes on your surface, including activation, conversion through regulated intake, retention, and adherence.
  • Create designs that build trust and hold up in a regulated market.
  • Work end to end, from problem definition and research to information architecture and UX writing.
  • Conduct your own research and usability testing.
  • Set up and honestly evaluate validation and experimentation, including A/B tests.
  • Perform UX writing, balancing craft and compliance in a regulated market.
  • Break down problems and package them back up for the team.

Requirements

  • Problem definition: Shape the problem using research, data, and input from others.
  • Visual craft: Demonstrate intent in typography, spacing, color, motion, and micro-interactions.
  • Accessibility: Design inclusively and understand the reasoning behind accessibility standards.
  • Systems thinking: Design across surfaces and contribute to the design system.
  • Product and commercial sense: Shape what gets built, considering metrics, research, and commercial awareness.
  • Communication: Provide clear, specific, and opinionated communication about decisions and rationale.
  • Working in the open: Share work early and often, and use critique to refine it.
  • AI integration: LLMs are embedded in your workflow, prototyping in tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
  • Full stack capabilities: Work end to end, including problem definition, research, information architecture, UX writing, research, usability testing, validation, experimentation, and A/B testing.
  • Portfolio: Showcase problem-solving that moved a commercial lever, including outcome, craft, finish, Design System contribution, and AI process impact. Concise and clear writing is essential.
  • Experience: Typically 8 years or more in product design, with a track record of owning a domain, building systems, and developing other designers.
  • Patient-first mindset: Prioritize patient outcomes, balancing commercial growth with clinical safety and care.
  • Collaborative creation: Work well across product, engineering, and clinical teams, listening to and incorporating feedback.
  • Curiosity: Ask 'why' before 'how', stay curious about patients, problems, and tools, and be comfortable as a beginner.
