About the Role
The Senior Installation Scheduler coordinates and manages electronic security installation projects from booking through completion, interfacing with customers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Schedule Installation Technicians and Sub-Contractors to meet customer completion dates.
- Manage and maintain project backlog, including revenue forecasting and status updates.
- Review backlog with DGM weekly for revenue forecasting.
- Attend daily calls with DGM to review new and existing projects.
- Drive the installation process from start to finish in alignment with DGM, program management, and field leadership.
- Manage subcontractor schedules, tracking arrivals and departures.
- Review new orders for customer contact information, scope of work, and labor allowances.
- Act as the primary customer contact to obtain Customer Completion Dates (CCD) and determine Projected Start Dates (PSD).
- Maintain Electronic Installation Folders for all assigned orders.
- Manage changes to PSD and Project Scope, assessing impact on product, manufacturing, transportation, and resource scheduling.
- Submit approved schedule orders, track equipment, process RMAs, and obtain service invoices from vendors.
- Issue, review, and submit subcontractor POs for approval and to Accounts Payable.
- Clean up MOR, process signed CFIN in Solomon, and close out tasks/reports upon project completion.
- Create and document action items and notes in Solomon/Atlas, escalating as needed.
- Maintain installation schedule using Atlas or other company scheduling tools.
- Follow up with the labor force regarding customer expectations for PSD and CCDs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment.
- Requires a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in operations scheduling, operations support, and/or project coordination.
- Ability to demonstrate and possess a working knowledge of the installation processes and systems, including an understanding of the overall order to cash process.
- Understanding of product and service offerings and deliverables.
- Basic understanding of general construction management/coordination requirements.
- Requires a highly motivated individual with a combination of professional business skills and basic technical knowledge.
- Must be a leader with the ability to communicate effectively (oral/written).
- Must be able to interact well with internal and external customers.
- Must possess good problem-solving skills.
- Must be proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other computer systems.
- Must be proficient in database management and project management system input and maintenance.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers as needed.
- Occasional lifting of parts and equipment as needed.
