About the Role
As a Creative Producer, you will shape the video-based formats of SKala-CAMPUS, from concept to completion. You will manage ongoing productions, acting as the interface between experts, production, and management. During a parental leave, you will temporarily lead the production team, transitioning to a permanent role afterward. Your goal is to make educational content engaging and strengthen brand recognition, ensuring it is accessible to beginners.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects and the production team (temporarily during parental leave), including resource planning, task delegation, and prioritizing multiple projects.
- Plan and execute video productions from preparation through post-production.
- Support the scriptwriting process, including content immersion, advising experts, and editorial revision.
- Direct on-set activities and make creative decisions throughout the production process.
- Contribute hands-on skills such as editing, scriptwriting, or photography.
- Identify needs for equipment, freelancers, or new team members and communicate these to management.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in video production, preferably in the education sector.
- Ability to inspire others with an open and engaging personality.
- Experience leading a team or major projects, or a strong desire to move into such a role.
- Capacity to quickly understand new subject matter and ask clarifying questions.
- Skill in editorially refining scripts, focusing on dramaturgy over technical lectures.
- View prioritization as an opportunity rather than a constraint.
- Ability to be both structured and creative.
- Maintain an overview in complex situations.
- Desire to contribute to a strong team culture and be part of a social startup.
