About the Role
The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering a seamless and high-quality people experience across the full employee lifecycle. This role is often the first point of contact for employees, acting as an ambassador for the HR team and representing the employee experience at the firm. This role provides operational HR support with a strong focus on onboarding, HR systems and data, early careers professional qualification administration, L&D administration, payroll & benefit support, and maintaining accurate HR systems and data. The HR team is central to the firm's period of growth and change, focusing on improving HR processes and the employee experience through data and AI.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full onboarding experience, including issuing contracts and onboarding packs, coordinating induction programmes, running the HR induction, and ensuring completion of mandatory training sessions.
- Support the Early Careers Talent Manager to design, manage, and support the delivery of the induction program for all Early Careers cohorts.
- Liaise with IT and internal teams to ensure new joiners have all required equipment, access, and resources.
- Proactively ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date with a new starter’s onboarding.
- Prepare and issue documentation across the full employee lifecycle, including new joiners, promotions, contractual changes, and leaver documentation.
- Coordinate the post-hire Early Careers journey, including APC enrollment, mock assessments, performance reviews, and feedback cycles.
- Provide high-quality administrative support across HR activities, contributing to the efficient running of the HR function and continuous improvement of processes.
- Take ownership of maintaining accurate employee data, ensuring records are updated promptly and consistently throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Use Cascade and Qlik (dashboards) to input and align HR data, generate reports, and maintain accurate employee records.
- Drive the optimization of automated workflows in Cascade, ensuring HR processes scale effectively.
- Maintain and improve system-driven trigger points and data capture to ensure timely and accurate HR actions.
- Champion data integrity by regularly reviewing system accuracy and ensuring clean, reliable, consistent HR information.
- Process data in line with the firm’s privacy notice and data protection legislation, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Support monthly payroll activity by ensuring accurate data flow into payroll cycles and assisting with reporting requirements.
- Provide general administrative support across benefits and reward processes.
- Support the coordination of L&D programmes, including planning, coordination, communication, and evaluation activities.
- Coordinate and assist with the rollout of development programmes for Early Careers.
- Analyze annual review data to identify themes that inform evolving L&D priorities.
- Provide ad hoc support on HR projects, support team members during absences, and act as an ambassador of the firm’s culture.
Requirements
- Previous experience of working in an HR department
- Experience within professional services is advantageous
- Keen interest in HR Data and operations
- Innovative thought paired with excellent organisation skills
- Proactivity in making improvements using data, tech and AI
- Good understanding of employment policies and procedures
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail, analytical and commercially aware
- Strong desire to enhance the employee experience at each step
- Hands on, team player with a can-do attitude
- High service delivery skills
- Must dedicate 2-3 days for a handover prior to 24th September.
