About the Role
CFA Institute is hiring an Associate Manager, Localization Production & Delivery to own the day-to-day health, quality, and continuous improvement of our localization production workflows and outputs. You'll work at the intersection of structured content, XML publishing and digital learning, helping transform translated content into high-quality PDFs, eBooks and Canvas learning experiences. This role focuses on solving complex workflow challenges, improving automation, and helping the team deliver localized learning products at scale.
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize localization production workflows across print and digital learning products.
- Oversee the production readiness and delivery of localized PDFs, ePubs, and Canvas course content using automated XML publishing workflows, stepping in to resolve complex issues when needed.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production, formatting, and rendering issues.
- Design, test, and implement improvements to publishing automation and workflows, including regression testing following system or workflow changes.
- Serve as a primary escalation point for complex localization production issues and provide advanced guidance and mentoring to Content Production Specialists.
- Work with Content Technology partners on cross-system improvements.
- Apply and reinforce accessibility and usability standards across localized print and digital outputs.
- Maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for localization production.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience working directly with localization production workflows.
- Hands-on experience producing localized learning content, PDFs, eBooks, or LMS content — not solely localization project management.

- Experience troubleshooting production issues across publishing workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to improve operational processes.
- Experience collaborating across Production, Editorial, and Technology teams.
